Exotic Bocote Wine Bottle Stopper

This bottle stopper had been turned out of an exotic wood called Bocote. Bocote grows throughout the West Indies, tropical America, Mexico, Belize and Honduras.  Bocote’s heartwood is rich, golden brown with a pinkish tint.

The bottle stopper base is made from FDA food approved solid stainless steel. We only use stainless for the base of our stoppers because stainless steel will not pit or corrode like chrome and other cheaper plated models. This stopper also utilizes a multiple o-ring system which creates an air tight seal to keep your wine fresh as the day you opened the bottle.

As with all my wine stoppers it comes packaged in a red or blue velour drawstring pouch which is great for gift giving or storage.
