Exotic Bocote Wine Bottle Stopper

I turned this wine bottle stopper from the exotic wood Bocote. Bocote grows throughout the West Indies, tropical America, Mexico, Belize and Honduras.  Bocote’s heartwood is rich, golden brown with a pinkish tint.

The stopper base is made from FDA approved solid stainless steel. I only use stainless for the base of my stoppers because stainless steel will not pit or corrode like cheaper chrome models. This stopper also utilizes a four o-ring system which creates an air tight seal to keep your wine fresh as the day you opened the bottle.

As with all my wine stoppers it comes packaged in a red velour drawstring pouch which is great for gift giving or storage.
